International Day of the Blues at The Woodshop
Saturday, August 1st, The Woodshop celebrates International Day of the Blues with a one-of-a-kind night of regional blues, bourbon, BBQ, beer, and the kind of intimate listening-room energy you can only get in St. Elmo.
Lon Eldridge kicks off the night with timeless roots, ragtime, country blues, and masterful guitar work that reaches back to blues roots.This special event brings together some of the finest blues voices and players in the region for one unforgettable evening. Papa T and The Juke Joint All Stars (from Miss Zeke's Joint in Nashville) bring the spirit of the old-school juke joint to life with deep-pocket grooves, soul, grit, and dance-floor energy. Jhett Black & The Big River Blues Band and Rick Rushing III Round out the night with heavy hitting electric improvisation.
This is more than a concert — it’s a full Woodshop blues celebration. Blue Note Bourbon will be on site with bourbon tastings for guests 21+, and The Woodshop will be serving a specialty event menu built for a night of blues, BBQ, bourbon, and beer.
