Originally from the bluegrass mountains of southwestern Virginia, Thomas Cassell is among the top tier of modern bluegrass musicians. The acclaimed mandolinist currently performs with Wood Box Heroes, including numerous Grand Ole Opry appearances, and has played alongside Billy Strings, Bryan Sutton, Trey Hensley, Jim Lauderdale, and more. His 2026 release, Guitar Collection, features collaborations with Tim Stafford, Trey Hensley, Dale Ann Bradley, and others.
GRAMMY-winning guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist Tim Stafford co-founded the legendary Blue Highway and is a former member of Alison Krauss & Union Station. A prolific songwriter with more than 300 recorded songs, Stafford has also performed on recordings by Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, Jorma Kaukonen, Tony Trischka, Larry Sparks, and many more.
Between them: a GRAMMY Award, three IBMA Songwriter of the Year honors, two SPBGMA Guitar Player of the Year awards, an IBMA Song of the Year, Grand Ole Opry performances, and collaborations with some of the biggest names in bluegrass.
